New York Wine Expo
Sample more than 600 wines from more than 150 winemakers from around the world at the fourth annual New York Wine Expo. The three-day exposition for consumers and the trade takes place February 25 through 27, 2011, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, 655 West 34th Street, New York, New York.
Note however, Road Trips Foodies, that the third day is just for members of the trade (we’re talking restaurateurs, retailers and other food and beverage professionals). Us ordinary humans can attend 6 to 10 p.m. February 25 and 2 to 6 p.m. February 26.
Attendees can learn from the experts at a wide range of seminars designed for all levels of wine enthusiasts. Topics include wine tasting, wine and food pairings, wine serving, selecting the right vintage, and many others. The third and final day of the event is dedicated to trade, including. (The expo is co-located with the International Restaurant & Foodservice Show of New York.)
Tickets can be purchased in advance online or at the door on the day of the event.
