Taste of London’s Christmas
Road Trips Foodies heading across the pond next month will have the chance to sample a “Taste of Christmas” from December 3-5, 2010, at ExCel London, One Western Gateway, Royal Victoria Dock, London, England, United Kingdom.
A dozen of London’s top restaurants will be serving up seasonal menus of everything from traditional classics to cutting-edge cuisine. Go shopping at the boutique food and drinks market and pick up some ideas for your festive feasting. At the Taste Wine, Taste Cheese, Taste Coffee and Taste Chocolate zones, you can settle down for a wine tasting and learn about the best cheese and chocolate for your Christmas table or a cozy night in. Cooking demos by some of the country’s top chefs are planned.
Tickets at the door are £22, and you pay for your samples with “crowns”, official currency of Taste of Christmas (buy ’em in advance or at the show) — £1 = 2 Crowns.
