Did you know, Road Trips Foodies, that Cave City, Arkansas, is the home of the sweetest watermelons? Well, that’s what the Chamber of Commerce there says!
In any case, they’re staging the 31st annual Cave City Watermelon Festival August 12-14, 2010, in the city park (admission is free). Activities include a pancake breakfast, car show, music and a parade. There will, of course, be watermelons galore. Go and taste-test their assertion for yourself!
