New Restaurants Open in Miami
The Taverna Opa has opened at the Dolphin Mall, 11401 NW 12th Street, Miami, Florida. Not only does it offer Greek family-style cuisine, but traditional Greek music, dancing servers and (after 8 p.m.) belly dancers!
Meanwhile, over at the Doral Golf Resort & Spa, 4400 NW 87th Avenue, Miami, Florida, two new dining options have opened. Mesazul offers a Latin-inspired spin on American steakhouse classics such as New Age lechon asado and slow roasted rotisserie mojo chicken. Bossa Nova (pictured), a lounge serving tapas and cocktails with live music — and, a floor-to-ceiling, climate controlled glass wine vault, featuring 200 select offerings from South America, Spain and the New World. Executive Chef Michael Lottermoser of the Doral, a Marriott resort, is responsible for both.
