HarborMarket Moves Indoors in Downtown Kenosha
Just because fall is rapidly approaching winter doesn’t mean that you can’t find fresh foods and breads in hometown markets! Road Trips Foodies passing near Kenosha, Wisconsin, on Saturday mornings can stop off at the Winter HarborMarket in the lobby of an historic theater, the Rhode Center for the Arts, 514 56th Street, Kenosha, it’s open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday (except December 26, 2009, and January 2, 2010) through May 22, 2010. The market returns to its outdoor location on Memorial Day weekend.
Winter HarborMarket offers ethnic food, fine art, handmade crafts, locally grown organic produce, meats, cheeses, eggs, baked goods, soaps, and flowers. Among the regular vendors are Patti’s Potions Natural Soaps, Ltd. featuring artisan soaps, lotions, and lip balms; Sandy’s Popper Express with gourmet popcorn; Wild Flour Bakery with all natural hand-made artisan breads made fresh daily; Ray’s Stand offering knife sharpening, olive oil, organic and imported cheeses, and more; and honey from Riverwood Produce Farm.
