The eighth annual Harbor & Seafood Festival is set for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday (October 10, 2009) in Santa Barbara, California. Admission is free. Not only can Road Trips Foodies meet local fishermen, but they can enjoy their catch: lobster, crab, prawns, and sea bass. Seafood cooking demonstrations at Chuck’s Waterfront Grill will include seafood handling and preparation tips. The festival is presented by the City of Santa Barbara, Commercial Fishermen of Santa Barbara, Inc., Santa Barbara Harbor Merchants’ Association, and the Santa Barbara Maritime Museum. All proceeds support the Santa Barbara Maritime Museum’s Education programs, exhibits, and general operating funds.
