Some 30 craft brewers from Vermont, New York, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine, Delaware and Québec will be spotlighted at the 17th Annual Vermont Brewers Festival July 17 and 18, 2009. This year’s festival commemorates 400th anniversary of the European discovery of Lake Champlain by Samuel de Champlain (who founded Québec City). The outdoor event takes place in Burlington (Vermont) Waterfront Park. There are three beer tasting sessions: 6-10 p.m. July 17, noon-4 p.m. July 18 and 6-10 p.m. July 18.
