Traverse City, Michigan, celebrates its heritage as America’s Cherry Capital with an eight-day party from July 4-11, 2009. The 83rd Annual National Cherry Festival features more than 150 family activities: air shows, fireworks, parades, games, races, midway rides, demonstrations, nightly outdoor concerts and (of course!) lots of chances to taste delicious cherry products.
