If you can never get enough fried scallops. then this is the food fest for you! Make plans to get to Port St. Joe, Florida, August 1 and 2, 2009, for the 13th annual St. Joseph Bay Scallop Festival in Shipyard Cove (next to the Gulf County Chamber of Commerce). Not only are the usual fried scallop dinners on offer, but also buckets of the succulent marine bivalve mollusks to take to your motel room and cook (you did remember to reserve a kitchenette unit, didn’t you?).
