July is National Ice Cream Month

No matter where you’re road trippin’ next month, be sure to stop for ice cream (preferably locally made!). In 1984, President Ronald Reagan designated July as National Ice Cream Month and the third Sunday of the month — July 19 this year — as National Ice Cream Day. This Road Trip Foodie’s favorite frozen treat destination is Ted Drewes in St. Louis, Missouri. Located on Historic Route 66, it’s been dishing up the good stuff since 1929.
