California Wine Boot Camp
At Wine Boot Camp, wine novices and experts alike experience firsthand the joys and frustrations of winemaking, from working hands-on in the vineyard and the cellar under the tutelage of winemakers and viticulturists to wine workshops and tastings. Affairs of the Vine promises that, upon completion of this “basic training”, the “recruits’ marksmanship in the field of fine wines will be right on target” — and all this takes place in just one very intensive day.
Two sessions are scheduled this summer. The first is August 15, 2009, in the Napa Valley at Ehlers Estate (vineyard) and O’Brien Estate (winery). There’s more information online.
