44th Annual Clam Festival in Yarmouth

Whole Fried Clams in Crumbs, Fried Clam Strips, Fried Clams in Batter, Clam Chowder, Clam Cakes…hungry yet? What about Fried Calamari, Jumbo Shrimp, Fried Scallops, Scallop Rolls, Tuna Roll or Fish Chowder? Don’t forget the Lime Rickeys, Cotton Candy, Peach Shortcake and Lemonade. Sigh! It’s all being served up July 17, 18 and 19, 2009, at the 44th annual Clam Festival sponsored by the Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce in Yarmouth, Maine. Oh, yeah, there are parades and artists and kayak races, but the 100,000 or so people who descend on Yarmouth each July come for the clams!
