The 65th annual Louisiana Peach Fest is set for June 26 and 27, 2015, in Ruston, Louisiana (it’s always the fourth weekend in June). A map is available online.
Contests? Of course, including peach cookery, peach-eating and a peach-themed quilt contest.
There also will be a parade, antique car show, peach art exhibit and an arts & crafts fair.
The peak of the season for Ruston peaches is mid-June through mid-July.
The Louisiana Peach Fest is produced by the Ruston-Lincoln Chamber of Commerce.
