Root Beer Bash!
Your Road Trips Foodie’s soft drink of choice is root beer, so this event definitely caught my eye: the 2023 Sprecher Root Beer Blast in Glendale, Wisconsin.
By the way, Sprecher uses a fire-brewing process and raw honey to create its craft sodas. No surprise: it’s based in Glendale.
It takes place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. August 5, 2023, at Bayshore, an open-air center with more than 60 shops, restaurants and offices.
Look for the free root beer floats: For every Sprecher Root Beer Float given away, Sprecher will donate one free meal to Feeding America WI.
All sorts of family-friendly events are planned, including a community art contest, petting zoo, and kids dance contest. Psst: it features the “world’s largest root beer float”.
