The Freiburg Wine Festival opens today (July 6, 2023) in the Breisgau region of Germany, and runs through Tuesday (July 11, 2023).
The 50th annual Freiburg Wine Festival will be held around the Freiburg Minster.
It brings together wines from the Breisgau region and the surrounding areas of Kaiserstuhl, Markgräflerland and Tuniberg, along with food and live music. It is a chance to enjoy the ‘Baden’ way of life.
Freiburg is a city on the edge of the Black Forest in the state of Baden-Württemberg. The Freiburg Old Town has its characteristic bächle, the narrow channels of water that run alongside the pavements, and has Munsterplatz as its central square.
