The 83rd West Tennessee Strawberry Festival takes place through May 8, 2021, in Humboldt, Tennessee.
opening celebrations for the festival start at 6 p.m. today (May 3) and include fireworks at 8 p.m. at Barker Memorial Stadium.
The event’s pageants, music, golf tournament, horse show, recipe contest, carnival, parades with floats and bands — are a part of the attraction (not to mention the strawberries).
If you’re there May 5, consider stopping by “Shortcake in the Park” — homemade strawberry shortcake made by Humboldt Boys & Girls Club. Both May 7 and 8 there are barbecue cookoffs and the Strawberry Market on Main.
