Scandinavian Festival in Ephraim, Utah
A plentitude of regional food is promised at the Scandinavian Festival Memorial Day Weekend — starting today (May 28, 2021) and continuing tomorrow (May 29, 2021, on the Snow College campus in Ephraim, Utah. The menu this year includes Swedish meatballs, Swedish meatloaf, real mashed potatoes, Swedish pickles, cranberries, brownies, cookies, éclairs, and marzipan cake.
Both food and craft vendors will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and again from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. tomorrow. There’s a Lions Club Aebelskiver (Danish pancake) Breakfast at 8 a.m. Saturday.
Activities include mölkky — Finnish throwing game inspired by kyykkä, a centuries-old throwing game with Karelian roots, quilt show, car show, scavenger hunt, and pickleball tournament.
