Step Out Agriventure Trail to Open in Alabama
Ribbon-cutting for the Step Out Agriventure Trail takes place at 10:30 a.m. April 23, 2021, at the Morgan County Celebration Arena, 67 Horse Center Road, Decatur, Alabama.
State Senator Arthur Orr, Morgan County Commission Chairman Ray Long, Morgan County Commissioner Don Stisher, and
Danielle Gibson, Decatur Morgan County Tourism, President and CEO, will do the honors.
The Step Out Agriventure Trail is a self-guided adventure of shopping and outdoor fun for all ages. The soon-to-be-launched trail features more than 10 working farms, orchards, mom and pop shops, and agricultural sites that offer fresh produce, authentic farm experiences, and animal production in Morgan County — along with a broad range of outdoor recreation such as bird watching, hiking, canoeing, and riding zip lines. Every spot on the trail is either locally owned or operated.
