Ribs and beer are promised at the eighth annual Big Swamp Smokeoff to be held January 4, 2020, on the Collier Fairgrounds, 751 39th Avenue NE, Naples, Florida.
Gates open at 10 a.m. The craft beer tasting is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Samples are $2 each for a 4-ounces.
Two cooking contests take place. Professional cook teams from all over the United States compete for cash at the smokeoff. The Professional Cook Teams are associated with the Steak Cookoff Association (SCA). Backyard Cooks & Cook Teams will compete for the People’s Choice awards.
