Italy’s Tartófla Truffle Festival

Alas, Road Trips Foodies, we’ve already missed the first weekend of the annual Tartófla Festival in Savigno, Italy.
But, there are two more chances to check out what are claimed to be the best white truffles in the world: November 9 and 10, plus November 16 and 17, 2019.
There are all sorts of truffle-related events (including truffle-heavy menus at local restaurants, exhibitions, and crafts plus stalls selling truffles and truffle-flavored foodstuffs.
(And, if you miss this year’s fest, there’ll be another one NEXT November in this town, about a 45-minute drive southwest of Bologna in the Comune di Valsamoggia.)
