The 36th annual Barbecue Festival is set for 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. October 26, 2019, i Lexington, North Carolina.
Admission is free. The exhibits open at 8:30 a.m., the opening ceremony takes place at 9 a.m. on the Grandstand Stage at the Square, and the barbecue tents open at 10 a.m. After closing, there’ll be a concert and fireworks from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Breeden Amphitheater on East Third Avenue. Road Trips Foodies need to know that this fest celebrates and serves one BBQ style: Lexington Style Barbecue. It’ll be served in three locations at the festival: tents will be located at West Center Street, North Main Street, and South Main and Third Avenue.
