Global “Melting Gastronomy” Summit in Portugal
The Global Gastronomy Summit takes place November 14, 15, and 16, 2019, at Alfândega do Porto, R. Nova da Alfândega, Porto, Portugal.
A first-of-its-kind event, the summit includes talks, tastings, live cooking, and pairings. An open discussion about food and wine is promised, focusing on food management, and new agri-food and tourism businesses using “sensations, experiences, and discoveries”.
The three-day work plan involves discussions, tastings, lunches, dinners, and the presentation of ideas, projects and businesses. The complete program is online.
Speakers include Paolo Sebastião, Anna Elisa de Castro, Carlo Petrini, Filipa Pato, and Manuel Liebaut, 35 in all.
