Harvest, Newfields, Indianapolis, IndianaA new event is scheduled at Newfields, 4000 North Michigan Road, Indianapolis, Indiana. “Harvest” takes place October 3 through 6, 2019.

Celebrate the season with chef demonstrations, art-making activities, local food and beverage vendors, live music, and a screening of “Rudy” under the stars. Oh, and there’ll be 5,000 pumpkins.

Hours are 4 to 9 p.m. October 3, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. October 4 and 5, and 11 to 5 p.m. October 6, 2019.

Look for “fifty acres of fall” featuring pumpkins, a hay maze, and autumn foliage set within The Garden. The celebration will include tastings from local and regional chefs and vendors, hands-on demonstrations and workshops, and a chance to interact with farmers, brewers, and distillers.

Families can enjoy seasonal horticulture displays, pumpkin painting, art making activities, a designated play area, and a family-friendly film on the Lilly Allee.

Newfields will complement the season with thought-provoking works of art in the Indianapolis Museum of Art galleries. The art highlight of Harvest 2019 will be Yayoi Kusama’s Infinity Mirror Room, All the Eternal Love I Have for the Pumpkins (2016).

Tickets go on sale September 3, 2019.
