If catfish is your favorite, check out the Catfish Festival set for May 18, 2019, along the banks of Lake Guntersville in Jackson County Park, 2302 County Park Road, Scottsboro, Alabama.
Sure, the fishers will be fishing, but the Road Trips Foodies will be turning up for the Shriner’s catfish fry between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Plenty of other concession vendors will be offering typical festival food.
Activities (starting at 8 a.m.) center on fishing, but there also will be an arts and crafts marketplace, car show, and live music.
It’s organized by the Scottsboro Small Business Council.
