California Wine Festival in Carlsbad
Wine, food, music, sea and sun — all are promised at the California Wine Festival – Carlsbad, set for June 21 and 22, 2019. Hundreds of vintage red and white wines will be poured by California wineries, complemented by dozens of the region’s top chefs and specialty food purveyors serving gourmet appetizers along with live music and an ocean view. It all takes place at Park Hyatt Aviara Resort, 7100 Aviara Resort Drive, Carlsbad, California.
The Sunset Reserve & Rare Wine Tasting takes place from 6:30 to 9 p.m. June 21. Featured are rare and reserve level bottles that “winemakers will dust off and pour”. Top regional chefs will serve hot and cold appetizers while live bluesy jazz “keeps things super cool” in the Palm Courtyard of the resort.
The Beachside Wine Festival, from 1 to 4 p.m. June 22, is the festival’s signature event, taking place on the resort’s event lawn. Hundreds of premium California wines are served up along with the best of the regional microbreweries, local top chefs, food purveyors, and vendors of all things related to wine.
