15,000 Eggs in This French Omelette
What better to celebrate Easter weekend than with a giant omelette?
There will be 15,000 eggs in the giant omelette whipped up in Bessières, France, April 22, 2019, by members of the Confrérie Mondiale des Chevaliers de l’Omelette Géante de Bessières and then served to the crowd.
Your Road Trips Foodie apologizes for not providing more details, but the website is in French (and her high school level fluency doesn’t extend very far in the translation department). It looks as though the festivities begin April 20 with (among other events) a road rally, an egg hunt for children April 21, and all sorts of music and dance — plus the cooking of the Omelette Geate at noon April 22, 2019.
