A Taste of Scotland with Words and Whisky
“A Taste of Scotland with Words and Whisky” takes place April 8, 2019, in the University Club, 1 West 54th Street, New York, New York.
Issuing the invitation are Kenneth Donnelly, Chairman, American-Scottish Foundation, and Paul Little, Principal & CEO, City of Glasgow College, Scotland.
The Reception and Whisky Tasting is hosted by Glendronach Single Malt Scotch Distillery, with special menu selections prepared by Gary Maclean (pictured), Scotland’s National Chef and winner of BBC’s 2016 MasterChef: The Professionals 2016.
At 7 p.m., look for the whisky tasting of Glendronach and Benriach, followed at 8 p.m. by “Platters & Words”, and at 9 p.m. by desserts, wine, and a book signing: Gary Maclean will be signing copies of his latest cookbook, Kitchen Essentials: The Joy of Home Cooking.
