Hot Chocolate Festival in New York City and Québec
The fourth edition of the Valrhona Hot Chocolate Festival is well underway in New York City, Montréal, and Québec City. Through February 3, 2019, restaurants, bakeries, and chocolatiers will be promoting artisanal and premium hot chocolate.
Each will create and sell unique hot chocolates at their locations featuring Valrhona chocolate.
Participating are 24 establishments in New York City, 14 in Montréal, and an additional eight elsewhere in the Québec province of Canada. A portion of the proceeds from New York benefit Food Tank, and from Canada, La Tablée des Chefs.
Valrhona has been producing chocolate in the small village of Tain L’Hermitage, France since 1922. Food Tank, is a non-profit organization fighting against food waste and pushing for food system change. La Tablée des Chefs is a non-profit organization that feeds families in need and develops future generations’ culinary education.
