Happy National Bloody Mary Day
Today, January 1, is National Bloody Mary Day.
Invented in the early 1900s, this classic veggie cocktail has been known to cure hangovers -— perfect for that headache on New Year’s Day.
Road Trips Foodies luck enough to be in Scottsdale, Arizona, can choose from among the offerings at what’s claimed to be the “biggest Bloody Mary Bar” (at least in Arizona), The Hash Kitchen.
With a variety of infused in-house vodkas (flavors like cucumber, jalapeño, pickle pepper and cilantro lime), Hash Kitchen also boasts more than 60 toppings: pickled eggs, fried ravioli, salami, bacon, sausage, and fried onion rings.
The locally owned restaurant describes itself as “a creative morning eatery” that has two locations in Scottsdale and one in Chandler, Arizona.
