Coffee Pairings in Boston
Well, why not, Road Trips Foodies? The George Howell Coffee Shop in the Godfrey Hotel, 505 Washington Street, Boston, Massachusetts, offers pairings of its estate coffees with a wide selection of pastries, toast tartines, and both breakfast and lunch sandwiches — all made in-house or sourced from local artisans/farms. Its French tarts and desserts are from Praliné Artisanal Confections.
Located in Boston’s Downtown Crossing neighborhood, The Godfrey Hotel Boston combines modern style with the building’s historic roots. When you enter the pre-war brick and stone façade of the Amory and Blake building, you’ll find the historic elevator lobby featuring ceruse oak paneling and polished porcelain flooring.
The coffee shop features an espresso bar, hand-poured single estate and micro lot coffee servings, public coffee cuppings, coffee-tasting “flights,” specialty coffee-based creations, coffee brewer calibration clinics, group education coffee classes, retail coffee equipment and coffee beans.
