Shuttle Service to Bourbon Distilleries in Kentucky
A new way to experience six of the distilleries of Kentucky’s signature industry. Miller Transportation now provides round-trip transportation from the Frazier History Museum, 829 West Main Street, Louisville, Kentucky, to a participating Kentucky Bourbon Trail® distillery for a tour and tasting every day of the week.
Visitors can start the day by exploring downtown Louisville’s Bourbon District, a unique walkable experience with distillery attractions, one of which is the Frazier Museum. The Frazier houses the The Spirit of Kentucky® exhibit, a visual guide to the history, craft, and culture of bourbon whiskey, and the Kentucky Bourbon Trail® Welcome Center, the official starting point of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail®.
Daily at 1 p.m., a motor coach will depart from the museum and shuttle visitors to a specific distillery. Visitors will get a guided tour of the distillery plus a tasting, leaving enough time to visit the gift shop before they depart. The motor coach will arrive back at the Frazier at 5:15 p.m.
Here’s the schedule: Maker’s Mark Distillery, Loretto (Mondays); Woodford Reserve Distillery, Versailles (Tuesdays and Thursdays); Wild Turkey Distillery, Lawrenceburg (Wednesdays); Four Roses Distillery, Lawrenceburg (Fridays); Jim Beam American Stillhouse, Clermont (Saturdays), and Heaven Hill Distillery, Bardstown (Sundays).
Tickets can be purchased online for $75 per person, which includes admission to the Frazier Museum, round-trip transportation, a guided distillery tour, a tasting, and light refreshments.
