Music to Your Mouth in South Carolina
The story of Music To Your Mouth begins 12 years ago, according to its organizers. Back then, a small team of Southern food fanatics put their imaginations (and appetites) together to celebrate Southern cuisine, creating a sensory experience unlike any other today (November 15) through Sunday (November 18, 2018), in Bluffton, South Carolina
Music To Your Mouth combines chefs, vintners, brewers, distillers, and artisans from across the South (and around the world) to toast the tastes, sips and sounds of the South through a series of events.
Highlights include a culinary salons on “Bourbon & Bacon”, “Bubbles and Caviar”, a traditional oyster roast, and a “Biscuits & Jam Breakfast”. Alas! Most of the events are already sold out for this year; interested Road Trips Foodies need to begin making plans for 2019 (tickets generally go on sale the June before the event).
Proceeds benefit Second Helpings, helping to feed more than 750,000 residents from Beaufort, Jasper and Hampton counties in southeastern South Carolina.
