“Art Dish” Combines Food and Art in Indy
Looking for a new idea in dining, Road Trips Foodies? The Harrison Center, 1505 North Delaware Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, has a series called “Art Dish” — an opportunity to consider for those traveling through Central Indiana.
Each month, “Art Dish” combines a talk by the current exhibiting artist in the Harrison Gallery with a fine dining experience curated by a local chef to complement the exhibit.
All of the 2018 dates are sold out.
The 2019 schedule includes these evenings:
January 14 (Chef: Erin Kem, Cannon Ball Brewery)
February 11 (Artist: Courtland Blade)
April 8 (Artist: Elizabeth Guipe Hall)
June 17 (Artist: Benny Sanders)
July 15 (Artist: Abi Ogle)
October 14 (Artist: Alicia Zanoni)
Tickets are $150; $50 of the ticket price is tax-deductible as a donation to the Harrison Center.
Doors open for “Art Dish” at 6:15 p.m., with dinner beginning at 6:30 p.m., and ending around 9:30 p.m. The entrance to the Harrison Gallery can be found in the courtyard, off of Delaware Street. There will be a sign on the sidewalk that points towards the correct doors. Attire is business casual.
According to its website, the Harrison Center seeks to be a catalyst for renewal in the city of Indianapolis by fostering awareness, appreciation, and community for arts and culture.
