Seafood Festival in Galicia

The Spanish town of O Grove, Pontevedra, on the Atlantic coast of Galicia, celebrates seafood every October (it is, after all, called a “seafood paradise”).
First held in 1963, this year’s festival is October 4 through 14, 2018.
During the celebrations, fish and shellfish go on sale at special prices — prepared and served by town locals. There will be music, traditional dance, all sorts of competitions and sporting events, as well as seminars and exhibitions.
