North Carolina Seafood Festival
Well, Road Trips Foodies: here’s a fest that may not take place due to Hurricane Florence and its aftermath. Check before pointing your cars in that direction.
The North Carolina Seafood Festival is scheduled to take place October 5, 6 and 7, 2018, in Morehead City, North Carolina.
This is the 32d year for the tasty fest, featuring such goodies as traditional “Down East” Clam Chowder, Shrimp Burgers, Charcoal Mullet, Sea Urchin on a stick, Calamari, and Marinated Eel. Check out the Chefs’ Tent October 6 and 7, 2018, for demonstrations and special tastings (the photo at right shows some of the samplings from last year’s Chefs’ Tent).
Three stages will offer live entertainment. Photography, painting, glass blowing and molding, wood carvings, wall hangings, and pottery are just a few of the arts and crafts you can expect to find along the streets in Morehead City during the Festival.
The North Carolina Seafood Festival is a not-for-profit organization of Carteret County citizens and business people, in conjunction with the town of Morehead City, North Carolina
