Never had boudin? And you call yourself a Road Trips Foodie? Well, you can remedy that lacuna (or just indulge yourself) at the 10th annual Boudin Cook-Off.
It’s set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. October 20, 2018, in Parc Sans Souci, downtown Lafayette, Louisiana. There’s no admission charge.
This is a Cajun food festival devoted to boudin (Louisiana’s pork and rice sausage) and other Cajun foods. In addition, there’ll be live music, kids’ activities, boudin-themed games, ice cream sandwiches and a boudin-eating contest (it’s at 11:30 a.m.).
