Indy Donut Festival
What better way to kick off the cooler days of fall than munching on doughnuts.
It’s the third year for the Indy Donut Festival, set for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. September 29, 2018, in Broad Ripple Park, 1550 Broad Ripple Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana.
This ticketed event allows guests to sample coffee and doughnuts from around the Indianapolis area. There’ll also be live music and (mysteriously enough) doughnut-themed activities.
All proceeds of this event will benefit cancer research and awareness of unspecified Indianapolis-based patient programs.
General admission tickets are $30, with kids getting in for $15. There’s also a “four-pack” — $100 for four tickets — and VIP admission for $45. Why do VIP? You get to start eating at 10 a.m. instead of an hour later.
(And, yes, not being a fan of slang, your Road Trips Foodie would be happier if it were named the Indianapolis Doughnut Festival.)
