Of course there’s a watermelon eating contest at the annual Watermelon Festival in southern Indiana.
The fest, set for July 26, 27 and 28, 2018, on the Owensville Library Square, 110 south Main Street, Owensville, Indiana, celebrates the watermelon harvest with a hometown parade, food, games, free daily entertainment, carnival rides, craft vendors, parade, and a 5K run finished off with a watermelon eating contest.
