Whisky Fest Celebrates 20 Years
WhiskyFest celebrates 20 years in 2018 with four tasting events across the country.
At the events, Road Trips Foodies will meet whisky distillers, master blenders, and other whisky experts, and taste from a selection of single malt and blended Scotch, Irish, bourbon, rye, Tennessee, Japanese, Canadian, and craft-distilled whiskies — all assembled in one ballroom. Rum, cognac, and other spirits will be available as well.
Many distillery representatives will be on hand at the pouring booths to explain how their whiskies are made. Seminars, featuring their own tastings, run throughout the evening. All tickets includes access to the grand tasting, all seminars (on a first come first serve basis), and a commemorative Glencairn crystal nosing glass.
First up is WhiskyFest Chicago, set for March 23, 2018, in the Hyatt Regency Hotel, 151 East Upper Wacker Drive, Chicago, Illinois. Then there’s WhiskyFest Washington DC, taking place April 17, 2018, in the Marriott Marquis Hotel, 901 Massachusetts Ave NW, Washington, DC.
This fall, WhiskyFest San Francisco will be November 2, 2018, in the Marriott Marquis Hotel, 780 Mission Street, San Francisco, California, and WhiskyFest New York is December 4, 2018, in the Marriott Marquis Hotel, 1535 Broadway, New York, New York.
