Hilton Head Wine and Food Festival
The Hilton Head Wine and Food Festival starts today (March 8, 2018) and runs through Sunday (March 11, 2018).
Events include cooking classes, a “sip and stroll”, wine tastings, and wine dinners. Besides — where else would a foodie fest conclude with a fried chicken and champagne brunch? This event, featuring Nicholas Feuillatte champagne and (of course) Southern-style fried chicken at the Sea Pines Beach Club from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday (March 11, 2018).
The festival, now in its 33rd year, is produced by Hilton Head Wine & Food, Inc., a non-profit. The proceeds from the event’s wine auction at the Grand and Public Tastings support the John & Valerie Curry Educational Scholarship Fund for college students pursuing degrees in the hospitality & tourism field. Scholarships are currently offered at the University of South Carolina Beaufort and the Technical College of the Low Country.
