Holiday Candy Making in Southern Indiana
Yes, Road Trips Foodies: it’s time to think about holiday sweets.
Watch Warren and Jill Schimpff (pictured) make candy canes and ribbon candy for the festive season, using the same copper kettle and roll molds that founder Gustav Schimpff used in 1891 in Schimpff’s Confectionary and Candy Museum, 347 Spring Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana.
It takes place from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., November 24, 2017 (ribbon candy) and the same hours November 25, 2017 (candy canes).
Admission is free, but you know you’ll want to buy some to take home.
