Gingerbread House Festival (and More)
Travel down Lollipop Lane to Gum Drop Street at what’s claimed to be one of the largest gingerbread festivals in New England.
The annual Gingerbread House Festival at the Wood Memorial Library & Museum, 783 Main Street, South Windsor, Connecticut, takes place November 24, 2017, through December 10, 2017.
Look for fairy tale houses and fantasy trains all covered with bright, colorful candy, plus replicas of historical buildings and edible villages, all created by regional artisans and bakers, students and community members.
There’s a Victorian Candy Shop display but (perhaps most importantly for Road Trips Foodies), there’s Ye Olde Gingerbread Shoppe where there will be holiday themed gifts and treats for sale.
