Who knew? There’s a whole category of culinary endeavor called “food sport”.
The sixth annual World Food Championships (said to be the largest competition in food sport) is set for November 8 through 14, 2017, in Orange Beach, Alabama.
Last year, 1200 contestants on 419 official teams 48 American states and 14 countries came to the competition. Yes, Road Trips Foodies can come watch (and taste). Ticket information is available online.
