Fungus Among Us Mushroom Festival

Did you know, Road Trips Foodies, that the forests of Whistler are filled with more than 350 mushroom species? The “Fungus Among Us Mushroom Festival” takes place October 13 and 14, 2017, in and around Whistler, British Columbia, Canada, and includes identifying those mushrooms that are edible and those that are poisonous.
Sponsored by Whistler Naturalists Society, the weekend includes a foraging session, a display of various mushroom varieties, cooking demonstrations, tastings, and workshops on using mushrooms to dye fabric and yarn.
