Smokin’ on The Rez BBQ & Music Festival takes place Friday through Sunday (September 15 through 17, 2017) in Old Trace Park in Ridgeland, Mississippi.
A weekend of great barbecue along the Ross Barnett Reservoir is promised, along with live music.
Forty teams will compete for bragging rights for the best ‘cue in the South. On Saturday the event kicks off at noon and the $15 admission ticket to the event includes a plate full of BBQ and sides plus entertainment. Food will be available until 7 p.m.
There is no admission charge for Friday or Sunday for those interested in interacting with team pit masters.
