A festival featuring biscuits&gravy, pirates and corn? Must be southern Indiana.
Yes, Road Trips Foodies, the sixth annual BucCornEar Festival takes place at the Jackson Township Fire Department, 4831 Helmsburg Road, Helmsburg, Indiana, September 23, 2017.
It begins with biscuits and gravy at 8 a.m. with everything else taking place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Admission is free (but the food is not — this is a fundraiser for the fire department). You’ll find pirate contests, corn-eating and shucking challenges, popcorn and more food. (Bonus points for dressing like a pirate.)
