It’s the 30th year for the Navy Bean Fall Festival along Front and Main streets in Rising Sun, Indiana.
Yes: there’s plenty of navy bean soup accompanied by homemade cornbread (that is, soup is served ’til it runs out).
The community fest on the Ohio River includes a Seaplane Splash-In (“a car show for airplanes”), amusement rides and bands for the event taking place October 13 and 14, 2017.
There’s free admission and parking.
