Heading to Jekyll Island next month, Road Trips Foodies? Try for the weekend of September 15 through 17, 2017, when the annual Shrimp & Grits Festival takes place in the National Historic Landmark District on the island off the southeast coast of Georgia.
Look for family-friendly entertainment, an artists’ market, live music, kids’ zone, food, a craft brew fest, cooking competition, wildlife demonstrations, and more. from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
