Oktoberfest Zinzinnati in September

Oktoberfest Zinzinnati is said to be America’s largest Oktoberfest. It takes place September 15 through 17, 2017, in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio (between Walnut and Elm streets along Second and Third Streets).
Hours are 5 p.m. to midnight September 15, 11 a.m. to midnight September 16, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. September 17, 2017.
Kickoff event is the Running of the Wieners (that’s a dachshund race) but what Road Trips Foodies are interested in is the comestibles. Promised are sauerkraut balls, potato pancakes, cream puffs, pickles, German potato salad, pig tails (yes, pig tails), bratwurst and other sausages, soft pretzels, strudel, and Limburger cheese — not to mention beer and wine.
