Apple, Cider and Cheese Festival in Normandy

Harvest time in Normandy, France, celebrates most especially the apple. In Conches-en-Ouche (about 90 minutes from Le Havre), there’s an Apple, Cider and Cheese Festival set for 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. October 29, 2017.
It’s a French farmers’ market plus tastings, cooking demonstrations, folk music, regional cider, honey, gingerbread and “pop-up” restaurants serving Norman specialties. Also on hand: lots of farm animals and traditional Norman games.
